Looks like a no-alcohol freshman party at the rec center sponsored by the student union and at a crappy midwestern college.
The guy in the mesh shirt and fedora is thinking, "Who is going to pay for all this foam?! Foam isn't free! LOOK AT ME BEING SERIOUS!"
i used to go to goth clubs in SF as a young idiot in the early 2000s-and it looks like the crowd is universally the same. all gross and better in the dark.
